Naturopathic Medicine - Dr. Ayla Wilson

Dr. Ayla Wilson attended the University of British Columbia for her undergraduate studies in human and cell physiology, biology and genetics before completing her 4 year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, an accredited Naturopathic college in New Westminster, BC.

Dr. Wilson’s philosophy on health is to see the individual rather than the diagnosis, and the underlying cause rather than the symptoms of the disease. She uses a wide variety of treatments and modalities catered to the unique needs of the patient.

In addition to the training she has received in nutrition, traditional oriental medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, lifestyle counseling and botanical medicine, Dr. Wilson is also certified in the Bowen technique, Neural therapy, Heavy Metal Chelation, and Prolotherapy.

Dr. Wilson treats a wide variety of conditions and areas including male and female fertility, women’s health, childhood conditions (such as ADD/ADHD, autism, asthma, eczema), geriatrics, gastrointestinal health, stress, skin conditions, weight loss, and autoimmune diseases.

In addition, she has a special interest in sports medicine which sprouted from her own experience as a competitive athlete. Currently as an active runner, rock climber and cyclist, she values every aspect of healthy living, and is passionate about helping people recover from their injuries and getting them back on their feet.
