Posted by Dr. Amanda Lee Categories: Chiropractic

Either you’ve been pregnant or you know someone that is! That’s a given! Dr. Mandy, Bloom’s Chiropractor has spent the last 9 years adjusting many excited expectant mamas and seeing the difference that regular chiropractic care makes throughout their pregnancy!

At Bloom we are  firm believers that all pregnant women need to be massaged and adjusted during their pregnancy! If you missed Dr. Mandy’s previous blog on this you can read it here.

Dr. Mandy recently traveled to San Francisco and studied and became proficient in The Webster Technique and became a certified provider. The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic adjustment that aims to correct misalignments of the pelvis and sacrum in a pregnant woman. It also addresses specific ligaments and soft tissues directly affected during pregnancy. The goal of this adjustment is to improve the position of the woman’s pelvis for better birth outcomes. If you are working with a doula and/or midwife during your pregnancy it is certain that they have heard about this technique!
