Karen Otsig is a life long North Shore resident and loves working in North Vancouver. She has established a very solid client base at the Bloom Family Wellness Centre over the last 10 years! She greets everyone she meets with a smile and her warm and welcoming personality can be felt the minute you walk into our office!
She is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. Karen has also completed the Douglas College Doula Training Course and is a member of the Doula Services Association.
Karen’s massage therapy practice includes treatment of a wide variety of conditions including overuse injuries, pain and stress, headaches, postural imbalances, digestive and respiratory disorders and PMS to name just a few. Karen welcomes anyone who is interested in receiving the many and varied benefits that massage therapy has to offer.
Karen has a special interest in health issues that affect women and part of her practice includes working with pregnant women both pre- and postnatal. Karen has spent considerable time researching and studying the many and varied benefits that massage has to offer women in the childbearing year. Karen is a busy mom to one son and is also a teacher’s assistant and part time instructor at The Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
